Knowledgeable of eye conditions and strategies used in the classroom to accommodate student with visual impairments
-Knowledgeable and familiar with assistive technology to use with low vision students.
-Utilize a variety of research based instructional techniques and technology, to meet needs and address the strengths of the individual students.
-Collaborate with other educators to create an appropriate educational environment for students.
-Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required; meets with parents to discuss student progress and problems.
-Utilizes data to ascertain progress towards IEP goals.
