Farmington Public Schools is seeking a talented and energetic social worker to become part of a committed team of educators. This position will work at one of our K-4 Schools.

Requirements:

The successful candidate is

• certified, experience with elementary population
  
• team-oriented, willing to work closely with coordinator and small group of teachers
  

• willing to assist in planning for student academic success
  

• willing to participate in community service projects and field trips
  
• able to help create positive school culture
  
• able to build positive relationships with parents and community
  
• skilled in providing individual and group counseling, including crisis intervention
  

Qualifications: Must be eligible for State of CT certification in School Social Work (071)

Salary: $46,625 - $101,032 depending upon education and experience; part time positions will be pro-rated
