The IT Security Analyst will function as part of the IT Security team, assisting with various information security and IT audit tasks by verifying operational procedures are in place and ensuring appropriate controls are implemented to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information stored and processed within the LCG environment and by third-parties. This position will be responsible for performing audits of various processes, conducting application risk assessments, participating in security awareness activities, updating information security policies, and using security software/tools to better safeguard LCG systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing audits of various systems and processes. Track audit results to completion.
• Modify existing and create new information system audits as needed.
• Conduct and document information technology security risk assessments for existing and proposed technology infrastructure, applications and third-party vendors. Review responses to questionnaires and other related documents, identify risks, and process exceptions, as needed.
• Support improvements to the cybersecurity culture across the company through phishing campaigns, awareness training, communications, and other activities.
• Coordinate audits conducted by external Auditors by partnering with the IT team and other business units to gather requested evidence and report on progress.
• Review and update information security and related policies.
• Lead various projects related to improving LCG's information security posture.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration with other members of IT and the organization to identify, manage, and remediate information security risks and address deficiencies.
• Monitor and track remediation progress resulting from vulnerability scans.
• Assist in monitoring security events (IDS, IPS, scans, etc.) and alert on potential security issues.
• Partner with Risk Management and IT Infrastructure to mitigate security risks that are identified during field audits.
• Identify threats for the organization based on research, best practices and information technology trends to drive continuous improvements within the information security team.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in information security and/or IT audit within an IT department, or internal or external audit function.
• CISSP, CRISC, and/or or CISA preferred.
