Early Childhood Education Director

We are seeking a passionate and progressive-thinking educational leader to strengthen our preschool program. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, collaborative spirit and be a great motivator.  The Educational Director is a key member of the administrative team that works together to support the mission and values of Aozora Gakuen. The Early Childhood Educational Director’s role is to inspire, motivate and lead all staff by demonstrating the standard of excellence through their example. The Educational Director is responsible for, and committed to, sustaining a high-quality child care program that emphasizes good partnerships between families and staff. The Educational Director creates an open and honest working environment that inspires professionalism and rewards creative, innovative teaching. As Aozora Gakuen is a young and growing school, the ideal candidate will be a hands on problem solver with a flexible and creative mindset. – Requirements –

• Master Degree in early childhood education or related field of study
• Minimum of three years of successful experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age
• State Teaching License in Nursery - 6, K - 6, Birth - 2 or Special Education
• Excellent communication skill in both English and Japanese
• Computer skill and literacy
• Interpersonal skills
• Full-time
• Knowledge and understanding of bilingual education is preferable
