SECONDARY SCIENCE - PHYSICS - TEACHER REQUIRED IN KUWAIT - ASAP.

An independent British curriculum school of good standing located in the popular expatriate country of Kuwait is seeking a secondary teacher of Physics for the next academic year.

The ideal candidate could either be new to the profession (NQTs will be considered) or ideally have recent UK teaching experience in Physics. Experience of teaching IGCSE and A level is preferred. Due to ministerial regulations they should have a first degree in their teaching subject with a matching post graduate qualification or a BEd of the same subject. Teachers should be aware that the majority of students are speakers of English as a second language, a good proportion of whom hail from Kuwait itself; confident abilities to differentiate delivery and culturally connect are a must.

Applicants are required to research the potential of working in a Gulf state of Kuwait to see if the opportunity synergises with their own professional and personal aspirations before they submit their CV. The school is a member of the British Schools of the Middle East and teachers enjoy all the professional benefits that such a reputable international establishment offers.

The employment package is very competitive boasting a tax free salary starting from KD980 per month (that's over GBP30000 per year 60% to 80% of which can be saved), free furnished single occupancy accommodation, local medical insurance, annual flights and an end of service gratuity. The saving potential is high and opportunities for more local foreign travel (more exotic places being closer like Africa, the Indian Ocean and Asia) are as exciting as they are varied.
