Adlai E. Stevenson HS (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking exceptional applicants for the Fall 2019 teaching position.
Description:
The mathematics teacher is a full-time position starting August 2019. Candidates must have strong content and pedagogical knowledge to teach a wide array of mathematics coursework. Experience in collaborating with colleagues to create learning standards, curriculum, develop instructional strategies, common assessments, and remediation is desired.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator's License with secondary mathematics endorsement required. Strong mathematics teacher candidates will have experience teaching across the secondary mathematics curricula spanning Algebra 1 and AP coursework guided by NCTM instructional best practices. Exceptional candidates have teaching experience using standards-based education models, classroom differentiation, integration of instructional technology, curriculum design, and instructing through the lens of social-emotional learning.
