The Windows Engineer, Level 2, is responsible for administering, monitoring and troubleshooting of Information Technology systems and applications powered by Microsoft Windows servers and cloud services. Evaluates new technologies and performs capa

• Manages Microsoft Windows based systems and applications, including Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS SQL, Hyper-V and VMWare.
• Supports Microsoft Azure Infrastructure.
• Performs capa
city planning for server resources and performance tuning;
• Ensures day-to-day operations;
• Evaluates new technologies and tools;
• Collects, monitors and analyzes systems performance data;
• Helps troubleshoots Windows systems and applications.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field experience
• Four (4) years of experience as Windows Engineer

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Possesses knowledge in managing Active Directory (2008,2012,2016), Exchange 2016 on premise, Exchange online and Microsoft Server Clustering technologies
• Experienced in managing Office 365 and Azure cloud environments.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for both on premise and cloud services.
• Understands networking concepts and is able to troubleshoot basic networking problems
• Able to secure and fine-tune Windows Operating System
• Must have experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) protocols, configuration and troubleshooting
• Able to create and maintain project plans and schedules and collaborate with technical teams and management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player, able to lead a group of engineers
• Ability to pass background requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Expert (MCSE)
