What You Will Do:
  • Ensure our quality curriculum standards are implemented
  • Build a team of high performing ECE professionals
  • Grow and promote your school with positive customer and community relations
  • Most importantly, you'll be preparing children for elementary school and future academic success.

What you'll need:
  • High school diploma or GED and one year of qualifying child care experience or Child Development Associate credential or a Child Development and Related Care Diploma or similar
  • credential where the course of study includes an intensive practicum in child care as part of the curriculum and which is approved by the Department or
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education and six months of qualifying child care experience or
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development or Bachelor's degree in a field other than early childhood education or c hild development and three months   qualifying work experience and successful completion of a biennial training program in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a   triennial training program in first aid, provided by certified or licensed  health care professionals covering emergency care to infants and children.
