Instructional Coach for Teacher Evaluation

Required: 092 endorsement; minimum 5 years as a building principal
Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish)
Duration: Two-Three Days per Week (exact schedule negotiable) for the remainder of the school year
Rate: Per Diem to be determined
Qualified Candidate:
This position is an instructional administrator coach for teacher evaluation for Windham High School's administrative team on a part time basis. The candidate:
* Will Assist the Administrator Leadership Team with Teacher Evaluation
*Provide Instructional Guidance of Best Practices for Teachers and the Administrator Leadership Team
*Provide guidance and expertise for the instructional programs of the school, evaluating lesson plans, and observing classes to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research and the instructional mission, vision, and theory of action for the District and school.
*Evaluate certified staff and provide instructional feedback
*Have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral)
*Be knowledgeable in instructional best practices and assessment
* Must have a proven success as a building administrator, preferably in an urban educational setting.
