Position Summary:

The Program Associate is responsible for supporting the operational systems and infrastructure of the Academic Team. The Program Associate works directly with the Assistant Director of Academic Operations and the Academic team to ensure that the central team is run in an orderly and effective manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

PD Operations and Logistics

Support the logistical planning and execution of professional development and academic team events management through calendar and material management and coordination of working with vendors.

Assist team with the maintenance of accurate professional development survey databases, sign in sheet records and ACT 48 credits records.

Support the timely production and distribution of professional development monthly reporting

Financial Management and Compliance

Support finance systems and credit card transitions

Support the maintenance of accurate records of all financial transactions and submit them to the Mastery's

central finance team for processing

Special Projects

Assist team to ensure sites has effective and orderly school systems. Project work ranges from data analysis to operational systems efficiencies to supporting large network events.

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously

Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to ensuring a high level of personal and professional

care for all colleagues and stakeholders

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Ability to work with computers, various software programs and other technology

Knowledge of public education and charter schools highly desirable but not required

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree;

Experience of at least two (2) years of equivalent related work experience to complete the listed duties

Physical Requirements:

Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required such as traveling to network campuses and maneuvering in office space-reaching file cabinets, filing, faxing, coping, typing, mailing, and making phone calls; Must be able to sit for up to four (4) hours looking at a computer monitor, using a keyboard and mouse and typing.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel when necessary.
