Customer Engagement Specialist

Description:


You will be handling all communications with our customers to provide them with excellent support. Our customers may range from teachers to district admins, and having excellent communication skills is a requirement. You will also be working directly with our development team to help resolve customer issues. The position requires occasional travel to meet with customers, attend trade shows. Training will be provided on how to use the program.

Required Skills:

-Solid verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to speak with confidence and energy in public, in person, and over the phone

-Excellent telephone skills fielding calls and requests from customers

-Proficient with Excel, Word, and Google Docs

-Ability to type 50 WPM +

-Good organization skills

-Ability to work both independently (with direction) and with a team

-Ability to work some overtime during the busy season

-Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities:


-Maintain a thorough knowledge of TypingClub and other EdClub products.

-Provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions over email, tickets, and phone.

-Provide a professional and pleasant ordering experience for customers.

-Provide support to customers by resolving problems with regard to the product, billing, or taking orders.

-Coordinate efforts with other teams and teammates to resolve issues quickly.

-Perform root cause analysis for each issue, escalating as necessary.

-Document and track issues in the software.

-Provide training and documentation for trending issues.

-Assist in making outbound customer retention phone calls.

-Assist coworkers and other team members when necessary.

-Assist in improving the quality of the software by examining new features and providing feedback.

-Assist with billing inquiries and communications.

-Update our support help forum with relevant and repeated support topics

-Help with logistics and setup of trade shows

-Perform various public speaking events, where you would be presenting the program to teachers, and be able to answer their questions.

-Attend to high-value customers that are assigned to you.
