THE RIVERVIEW GARDENS SCHOOL DISTRICT IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR.

- Masters degree in accounting, business, or related field is required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Prior management and leadership experience in a financial operations position with increasing responsibility and advancement required.
- Minimum of three years administrative experience.
- Special preparation or satisfactory experience in personnel, financial management.
- Ability to work with and through colleagues, parents, and community groups and organizations.
- Ability to delegate responsibility to those under his/her supervision relative to obtaining results necessary for the educational program, PreK-12.
- Ability to determine needs and develop long-range plans for district including capital improvements.
- Knowledge of processes of developing capital improvement plans, bond issue, budgeting, and bid process.
- Demonstrates strong leadership/judgment to make fiscally sound decisions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Knowledge of education environment and school finance.
- Knowledge of state and federal education funding allocations and requirements.
- Experience with grant management.
- Computer literacy, inclusive of financial applications.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Demonstrated strong communications skills.
- Successful completion of a background check by Human Resources.
