Milwaukee Public Schools is seeking full and part-time elementary, middle, and high school music teacher candidates for the 2019-20 school year. Positions include teaching General Music, Band, Choir, and Orchestra. Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) music teachers provide a music curriculum aligned to the Wisconsin Music Standards. In MPS, the teachers and leaders are committed to the vision of high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the achievement gap among subgroups within the schools.
