Staff Needed: One (1) Band Director
Qualifications:
- New Jersey Teacher Certification
- Proof of experience required for Substitute Certificate holder
- Coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Ability and willingness to work with students, faculty, parents and community
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the area of instrumental music
- Design content for performances
- Stress and exemplify good citizenship
- Interest in remaining apprised of new theories and techniques in the field
- Must be available daily during the sports season (fall/winter/spring) and seasonal parades
- All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid"
- All reappointed coaches must be certified in CPR / AED certified and maintain a current certification
- All coaches must obtain a "Concussion Awareness and Wellness" certification ANNUALLY
- All coaches must obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate ANNUALLY
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community
Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
