Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a research-based systems approach for supporting the behavioral needs of all students.� PBIS is a school-wide framework designed to enhance the capacity of schools to effectively educate all students, with the goal of adopting , expanding and sustaining the use of evidence based practices.� Each coach is responsible for guiding PBIS and Building Intervention Team meetings, conversations and activities at all assigned schools.� The coach meets regularly with school staff to train, facilitate procedures, model effective student interventions and consult on the implementation process.
