Job Description:
Odyssey Charter School is accepting applications for an anticipated School Counselor Position within our Intermediate School (Grades 3-6). The position is anticipated for mid-February for at least 12 weeks
Qualifications: DE certification as a School Counselor.
Responsibilities:
Start Date: 2/2019
A person may not be employed by a public school employer in any position requiring licensure and certification if the person does not meet licensure and certification requirements established under Chapter 12 of [Title 14 of the Delaware Code]..., except pursuant to a license extension and/or emergency certificate issued pursuant to Chapter 12. See 14 Del. C.§ 1313.
Direct deposit of paychecks is a condition of employment for all new employees hired after December 31, 1995

- Provides individual and/or group guidance and counseling services to assist students in relating to family, school, society and self so that they may realize their maximum potential..
- Provides crisis, developmental, educational, career awareness counseling on an individual or group basis..
- Works directly with the Dean and Student Advisor and assist with any administrative duties, as needed.
