This position is a long term sub position for a 0.5 FTE Elementary School Social Worker; the position will last 6-8 weeks; must be certified in School Social Work

Requirements:

The successful candidate is

• certified, experience with elementary population
  
• team-oriented, willing to work closely with coordinator and small group of teachers
  

• willing to assist in planning for student academic success
  

• willing to participate in community service projects and field trips
  
• able to help create positive school culture
  
• able to build positive relationships with parents and community
  
• skilled in providing individual and group counseling, including crisis intervention
  

Qualifications: Must be eligible for State of CT certification in School Social Work (071)

Salary: $46,625- 54,149 on a per diem basis and pro-rated to part time
