Description
\K12 is hiring a Sr. Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team. This person will be responsible for forecasting lead volumes and trends for K12's programs and products, as well as other volumes such as enrollments. The desired candidate will be enthusiastic and ready to learn and grow as they apply their experience at K12.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Create forecasts and forecasting models using Excel, and other tools.
- Learn and apply forecasting methodologies such as:
- Cohorted conversion (e.g. time cohorts)
- Point-in-time analysis
- Conversion funnel/pipeline
- Segmentation
- Historical scaling
- Scenario analysis
- Complete a monthly reforecast of volumes and rates, based on the latest actuals and trends
- Present and review results with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and operations leads. Solicit and integrates stakeholder feedback into work products
- Engage across departments with other forecasting leads and stakeholders
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, analytics, STEM, or related, AND - 3 years creating forecasts using products such as Excel, R, Python, SQL, or SAS - 3 years building forecasting toolsets or forecasting models - 3 years forecasting for complex multi-product and multi-market situations - 3 years engaging with forecasting leads and stakeholders to integrate feedback and insights - 1 year presenting in meetings to small and medium groups - Strong attention to detail - Ability to learn new concepts and toolsets quickly - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Clear communication, ability to lead conversations about your subject matter, OR - Equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience working with machine learning (ML) and regression-based forecasting approaches - Experience working with time series models - Experience in the education industry - Experience with BI tools such as Tableau - Ability to pass required background check
