The Newfane Central School District is seeking a highly motivated teacher with certification in English 7-12.
The ideal candidate understands the importance of building rapport and connectedness with students and possesses skills and strategies to do so. He/she would have experience with using Chromebooks and Google Classroom for instruction, extensive coursework in composition, evidence of successful teaching students with a variety of backgrounds and ability levels.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in English, English Education or a Master's degree in a related field; demonstrated evidence of knowledge of current theories of composition and literature; experience teaching at the secondary or post-secondary level; excellent written communication skills.
