The Financial Analyst supports growth initiatives by conducting market analysis for site selection, build business cases to support investments in acquisitions and conduct post-mortem analysis to understand returns on investment and provide insights to improve decision making.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Influence the site selection process for acquisitions by analyzing micro and macro-economic factors to provide guidance and recommendations as well as understand growth potential within markets, while also ensuring the potential schools fit into the company segmentation strategy.
  • Be a key player in the acquisition process by working cross functionally to gather all the relevant information to create a detailed business case for each potential deal as well as assist in presenting these deals to internal committee groups.
  • Own the school segmentation process for acquisitions by continuously analyzing our school portfolio to determine multi-year individual school strategies which in turn will provide recommendations for operational initiatives and capital investment levels to navigate schools to their appropriate segment.
  • Provide financial rigor to all phases of strategic initiatives by making key stakeholders aware of the expected financial outcomes, opportunities and risks to the plan, and insights and learnings to apply to future decisions.
  • Conduct ad-hoc market and individual school reviews to support key initiatives and identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Field Operations, Acquisition, Real Estate and Facilities departments to ensure initiative and performance messaging is consistently interpreted.
  • Work with large data sets and aggregate at meaningful levels to provide summary-level detail and trends, and to cut geographically/categorically with comparisons to prior year, budget, etc.
  • Create and maintain canned reports and reporting tools while ensuring integrity between multiple sources. Friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with customers, co-workers, managers, and visitors.
  • Promote and project a positive company image; treats others with courtesy and respect.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Finance, Economics, or related area)
  • Minimum 3 years of business analysis experience, preferably in finance.
  • Experience working in a multi-unit/multi-state environment preferred
