Our client school is looking for a Secondary Deputy Director (SLT) to join the school August 2019 .They are looking for an inspirational and innovative leader who can demonstrate successful experience of being a senior leader in an outstanding school. THE ROLE
They are looking to appoint a Deputy Director to oversee academic development and student progress in their school. The Deputy Director (academic) will be a member of the School Leadership Team who plays a key role in developing the strategic direction of the school and ensuring the ideals of our school vision are met.

Applicants should have a Bachelor"s degree in a relevant subject area from a well respected university plus teaching qualification. Having a Master"s degree/TEFL qualification would be an advantage. They should have proven and successful experience working with 14-19 year old students - at least two years post qualification. IGCSE and A-Level experience is and the ability to teach extremely high achieving students is strongly preferred. The school are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers able and willing to contribute to the full life of the school. Previous experience in an international school is preferred as is experience teaching EAL students.

This is a selective, high achieving school that caters for highly motivated Chinese students. The school is located in the southern city of Zhuhai which is located on the western bank of the Pearl River. It faces Hong Kong and Shenzhen to the east across the sea with Macau to the south.
