RTI/Special Services Coordinator
* Ensure state and federal compliance with RTI and special education regulations (IDEA) as well as Section 504 of the ADA
* Coordinate RTI, pre-referral/IST,IEP and 504 processes
* Communicate and work closely with classroom teachers while assisting in the development and monitoring of each students' intervention plan
* Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers, special education teachers, and para-educators regarding instructional and behavioral interventions, accommodations, and instructional strategies appropriate to specific student needs
* Stay current on revisions and amendments in special education law
* Oversee the collection, analysis, management , and dissemination of data about identified RTI and special education students
* Actively identify and act upon opportunities for personal and school-wide improvement
* Demonstrate willingness to work as a team with all faculty, staff, parents, students, and school administration
* Maintain appropriate licensure and certification and attend appropriate professional development
* Demonstrate engagement in the professional development process
* Report to Head of School and Director of Curriculum and Instruction
