    Title: Orchestra Director - Musical Production Staff

    Qualifications: *Good health & physical condition must be able to lift 50 pounds
    *Good leadership & organizational skills

    Reports To: Musical Director, Activity Director and Principal

    Supervises: Students & community musicians

    BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE
    This person conducts rehearsals with the students and community musicians who make up the orchestra for the Spring Musical.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The employee performing the duties of this position is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, hear, bend, stoop, and reach. The employee may be occasionally required to manually lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to interact with staff and meet the demands of several different people. The employee is responsible for the work output of others. The employee occasionally works extended hours. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Works with the Musical Director to make cuts, and alterations to the score.
    2. Assists with rehearsals of orchestra for Spring Music Production.
    3. Other Activities approved by building administrators.
    Term of Employment: December 2018- March 2019

    Salary Range: Extra Pay/Extra Duty Schedule

    Evaluation Frequency: Job performance will be evaluated at the end of each school year.
