Performs the full range of professional duties related to classification and compensation administration, including the performance of complex and/or sensitive activities; conducts position classification reviews ranging from complex to routine; collects, analyzes, and maintains data and performs reviews required to maintain classification and compensation plans; prepares occupational and organizational analysis reports, job descriptions, and related position classification documentation; provides organizational development advice and assistance to program managers; may manage a human resources large-scale, long-term project.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, plus five years of progressively more responsible human resources or related experience, two years of which shall have been in the classification and/or compensation field. Participation in large-scale compensation studies with large organization preferred. Can demonstrate knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices of classification and compensation; familiarity with the principles and methods of public human resources administration and educational institution organization; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
