Food Service Worker - Substitute Position
3 to 15 hours per week
Hours between 7:00am to 1:00pm, 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Reports to Head Cook/Kitchen Manager or Head Cook/Kitchen Manager/Inventory Manager
Summary
Work alongside the Head Cook and Cook's Helper to prepare, serve and clean up after school meals.

Summary

General Responsibilities
- Efficient, clean, and safe preparation, serving, and clean-up of daily meals
- Working knowledge and effective use of the POS system
- Able to prepare receipts for deposit
- Ability to show flexibility in tasks - serving, food prep, running POS system, clean up
- Consults with Head Cook and other k itchen staff
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Serve Safe Certification (or equivalent) strongly recommended
- Strong sense of customer service
- Some Computer knowledge is a plus
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Sense of pride in creating healthy, nutritious meals
- Enjoy working with children
- Ability to take direction
- Must pass a CORI check
