Job Description
The Prekindergarten Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students, ages 3 -5, in an integrated Pre-K classroom that are identified with developmental delay, autism and communication disabilities that affect their learning, and to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.
Responsibilities:
• Develop weekly lesson plans that contain all of the required components.
• Deliver instruction utilizing appropriate resources, equipment, materials, technology and instructional strategies.
• Provide differentiated instruction based on the student's individual level of functioning and preferred learning modalities.
• Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff.
• Develop, teaches, and reviews clear and concise classroom rules, routines, procedures, and expectations.
• Develop a daily/weekly schedule of instructional and non-instructional activities for each paraprofessional.
• Maintain constant and ongoing communication regarding students and all facets of the program.
• Follow the appropriate chain of command when questions, issues, and/or concerns arise.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork within the designated timelines.

We continue to use NWEA as our benchmark assessment measure and TeachPoint to document educator observations.

Job Requirements
Required: Massachusetts Teacher License in Mild/moderate disabilities, PreK-8
Preferred: Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification (CPI), Physical/Psychological Management Training Certification (PMT), familiarity with and/or experience working with diverse populations in a school setting.
At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
