The Product Manager works with clients and development teams to create best in class online educational experiences for students that drive academic achievement, engagement, and retention.

AS A PRODUCT MANAGER, YOU WILL..
  • Researches markets and competitors to make sure that courses, curriculum, and platform product offerings are best in class;
  • Converts a deep understanding of client needs, business goals and competitive pressures into product requirements and priorities; Synthesizes client research and feedback and internal recommendations into actionable courses and curriculum product development plans;
  • Understands and analyzes user courses, curriculum, and platform needs in an ongoing manner, synthesizing and communicating them effectively to stakeholders;
  • Creates plans to promote adoption and launch of new courses, curriculum, and platform product features and measures their impact;
  • Drives requirements and roadmaps for online educational courses, curriculum, and platforms; Defines and implements product roadmap with software development and content partners;
  • Works with partners such as user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to create learning experiences that are highly engaging, effective and result in academic achievement;
  • Identifies opportunities and new product features to grow academic achievement and frictionless instructional models for both fully virtual and blended learning environments;
  • Serves as a product point of contact for Design, Engineering, Operations and client teams, helping lead teams to successful launches.

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree AND
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in online product management with an online technology, online education, media or mobile products company OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organization, data and analytics skills

Certificates and Licenses: None required.
Other Required Qualifications
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel; Web proficiency.
  • Ability to pass required background check
  • Experience managing project using an Agile methodology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business experts
