Title Financial Analyst

Description
The Financial Analyst works with the business unit team performing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas along with month/quarter/year-end close activities.

• Performs general ledger accounting and financial support activities;
• Prepares monthly financial State ments including Income State ment, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow; Prepares monthly forecasts;
• Assists with monthly financial closings; Analyzes monthly profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet variances; Performs routine communication relating to financial close, issues and deliverables;
• Assists in the development of annual budgets;
• Provides business development and contract negotiation support; Participates in business support processes;
• Supports Corporate Finance group with K12 and school financial policies, internal controls, and business processes;
• Assists with school audit and helps ensures all tax filings are prepared and submitted. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Math or a related field AND
• Three (3) years of related experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

• Possess very good communication skills - written and verbal
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Oracle ERP experience
• Highly proficient in MS Suite - especially Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional certification and/or advanced degree
