This prestigious school in Qingdao, China is looking for Secondary ICT Coordinator to join them in August 2019. Applicants should be suitably qualified with a Bachelor"s Degree plus teaching certificate or license and at least 2 years relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher. They should support the School"s values and Christian ethos, have passion in teaching students, be good team players, sensitive and responsive to the needs of students and demonstrate commitment in teamwork.
This position will include a combination of IB Computer Science and/or ITGS, IGCSE ICT and/or Computer Science, plus school systems administration. Oversight of the primary ICT curriculum will be included. Experience in administration with PowerSchool and Atlas curriculum mapping software would be considered a definite advantage. For a candidate with leadership experience, possible leadership opportunities here for next year could also be discussed.
The school caters for children from Early Childhood (K2, K3 and K4) to Primary on their Qingdao Campus and from Early Childhood (K3 and K4), Primary to Secondary on their Huangdao Campus. Students complete the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The Huangdao Campus now offers the A Level programme in Years 12 and 13.
