Hours: 8:30 a.m.- 3:15 p.m.
10 month duty schedule

Salary: From: 17.52

Salary: To: 22.74

Additional Job Information: Duties and Assignments: Float district-wide to perform routine sub-professional nursing services and assist Registered Professional Nurse or certified School Nurse Practitioner in the maintenance of acceptable health standards, school health records and the emergency treatment of student and employee health problems; does related work as required; will attend school field trips requiring nursing coverage for medical conditions; will also provide coverage for 1:1 students when regularly scheduled LPN is absent.

Experience and Training: Completion of a course of study in practical nursing approved by the State Education Department of at least nine months at a school of practical nursing registered by such department and graduation from a standard senior high school; or any equivalent combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.

Special Qualifications: Tact; patience; knowledgeable about childhood diseases; up-to-date on first aid techniques; technologically proficient.
