Probationary Elementary Teacher. Candidates must have NYS Elementary B-2 and Elementary 1-6 certification. Literacy certification and prior teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of the following will be expected and should be highlighted on resume: CCLS, NYS teaching standards, understanding and use of assessment to drive instruction. Candidate must show evidence of student engagement and empowerment strategies as well as collaboration with colleagues for instructional assessment, planning and data team work. Knowledge and application of PBIS methodologies is preferred. A demonstration lesson is required for finalists.
