We are now accepting applications for an Executive Assistant position to serve district operations. The Executive Assistant to District Operations will assist the Chief Operating Officer by coordinating and performing a variety of executive assistant duties and support functions. Assist in maintaining a professional, friendly, positive and respectful work atmosphere by coordinating and providing a full range of administrative functions for the Chief Operating Officer and other personnel involved in district operations.

The Executive Assistant to District Operations will work alongside the Chief Operating Officer and in collaboration with the district, departmental, and school-based leaders. The position facilitates and manages support for one-time and ongoing district projects and manages tasks/resources as directed by the Chief Operating Officer. The Executive Assistant to District Operations ensures timely and appropriate support and response regarding EWSD initiatives, directives, policies, and procedures as initiated by the Chief Operating Officer.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience facilitating presentations and adult learning in a dynamic and proactive manner across multiple job levels in an organization.
- Project management experience highly desired.
- Strong technical background including proficiency in word processing programs, Google applications, graphics design programs, presentation programs, website platforms, and social media.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion and independent judgement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High accuracy & attention to detail.
- Good general understanding of public education organizational and governance structures desirable.
- Understands the importance of establishing relationships and creating a maintaining a strong network both within and outside the organization.
- Proven ability to work effectively without specific direction, and with minimal supervision.
- Great interpersonal skills; ability to work cooperatively and effectively with teachers, administrators, support staff and other internal and external constituents.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Has a personal drive to succeed.
- Proven ability to effectively problem solve and handle complaints or concerns.

Position pays $20.00 to $25.00/hour depending on experience. Excellent benefits package available including family medical and dental insurance; 30K term life insurance; professional development funds; retirement plan with up to 6% employer contribution; and paid vacation and other leaves.
