Salary: From: 22.38
Salary: To: 31.23
Additional Job Information: Will be assigned throughout the disrict to provide assistance or fill in for absent RN
Recruiting Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures and terminology; good knowledge of the principles and practices of public and child health; ability to get along well with children; ability to establish and maintain cooperative relations with teachers and the general public; sound professional judgment; initiative and resourcefulness; dependability, good physical condition.
Experience and Training: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, valid license and registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of New York and current CPR/AED certification.
Duties of Assignment: Will be assigned on a daily basis to provide nursing coverage as needed at sites throughout the district. Duties will include: first aid, medication administration, management of chronic conditions; evaluation of immunization status; completion of mandated state data report; and any other duties as assigned by Administration.
Special Qualifications: Tact; patience; knowledgeable about childhood diseases; up-to-date on first aid techniques; technologically proficient.
