Middle School English Teacher - Northern Emirates, UAE - Immediate

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN THE NORTHERN EMIRATES SEEKS SECONDARY ENGLISH TEACHER FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL.

Secondary teachers are needed for this relatively new campus, the latest addition to a successful and thriving school group in the United Arab Emirates. It employs a US curriculum but will accept experienced teachers with qualifications from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa as well.

Developing school projects requires strong teamwork and people skills alongside an equal ability to work independently and creativity in a learning environment that is evolving to be more student centred. Teaching local students demands strong skills of differentiation, academically, linguistically and culturally and strong classroom management skills; some experience is preferred. Please note that this is not a typical western expatriate school and all students speak English as a second language.

FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED TO A HAVE A BACHELORS IN ENGLISH. If your first degree is not specific please be ready to provide your transcripts as supporting evidence.

The salary ranges from 9500 AED to 11,000 AED per month depending on qualifications and experience. Furnished housing is provided for single occupancy. Flights yearly, paid utilities and gratuity are provided alongside optional earning extras of paid clubs and monitored tuition.
