Supervisor of Schools
Key Responsibilities
- Support Head of School to insure excellence in programming, culture, and communications
- Supervise federal consolidated grant (monitoring, spending, compliance)
- Serve as DPAS II Lead for schools, including administrator assignments, scheduling, and data analysis
- Address escalated K-11 discipline and academic concerns
- Manage Choice and recruitment efforts
- Oversee whole school scheduling (across three buildings) and identify staffing needs
- Schedule and support professional development and in service trainings
- Liaise with building Deans and Student Advisors to be proactive and provide supports to staff
- Represent administration at appropriate school and community functions, providing public speaking and presence, as needed
- Other duties, as determined by Head of School
Requisite Skills
- Minimum of three years building- or district-level leadership experience
- Masters Degree in educational leadership or similar
- Five or more years teaching experience (preferred)
- Excellent written communication and public speaking skills
- Desire to join a change-loving organization with excellent professional growth potential
Reports to: Head of School
12-month position
A person may not be employed by a public school employer in any position requiring licensure and certification if the person does not meet licensure and certification requirements established under Chapter 12 of [Title 14 of the Delaware Code]..., except pursuant to a license extension and/or emergency certificate issued pursuant to Chapter 12. See 14 Del. C.§ 1313.
