    CLASSIFICATION: Starting salary is $62,201

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    *Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, graphic design or related subject
    *Three years' experience managing multiple websites using a content management system
    *Three years' experience managing multiple websites
    *Three years' experience in web-based graphic design, web interface design
    *Three years' experience in web development desirable
    *Excellent understanding of HTML web technologies and applications
    *Excellent understanding of graphical design, both on the web and in print
    *Social Media experience
    *Excellent understanding of Analytics and online marketing strategies
    *Excellent understanding in Adobe Creative Cloud especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
    *Knowledge and experience related to web-based communication systems and services including third party systems such as content management and customer management systems
    *Ability to coordinate and collaborate with internal and external groups
    *Working knowledge of photography and best practices
    *SEO and SEM experience desirable
    *Excellent oral and written communication skills including proofreading and A.P. Style Knowledge
    *Critical thinking and problem solving skills
    *Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
    *Ability to manage multiple priorities, including short and long-term projects
    *Operating knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Windows Operating Systems
    *Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as telephones, copier, fax machine, E-mail, etc.
    *Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
    *Experience and/or skills working with culturally diverse populations desired

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    *Responsible for developing, organizing, producing, monitoring, coordinating, maintaining and updating website content and design for the district's and school web sites
    *Coordinate and monitor updating of school websites
    *Responsible for assisting in the development and design of graphics for district web and print and media advertisements
    *Responsible for building, maintaining, and updating district approved CMS-Blackboard or comparable
    *Produce a consistent visual image on the site by promoting uniform fonts, formatting icons, images, layout techniques, and modularization, including maintenance of template and image archives
    *Determine appropriate compression techniques, resolutions, sizes, color maps and depth
    *Stay up-to-date on design methods and website standards
    *Manage, maintain, and update district's mobile app interface
    *Coordinate with the Information Technology Department on the installation and maintenance of the organization's internet/intranet technical functions as well as district's mobile app accounts & functions and the district's communication platform, including site security
    *Check for bugs and problems; diagnose and fix.
    *Provide training, advice, direction, problem resolution, and support to all web publishers and departments in the district
    *Plan and perform group and individual trainings, create training materials
    *Send out district-wide communications via Blackboard systems for district events and emergencies
    *Analyze and report on traffic statistics
    *Assess new standards, technologies and trends, and formulate strategies and plans for enhancing websites
    *Manage, monitor, and maintain district and school social media accounts
    *Collaborate with team in communications and marketing efforts within the district
    *Maintain district brand standards across all platforms
    *Lead district efforts to support website accessibility and ADA compliance
    *Perform other duties as assigned
