Salary Range: $19.86 - $23.69 per hour
Essential Functions and Objectives:
- The Speech Language Pathology Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist with language and hearing screenings and assessments (without interpretation).
- Follows documented treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist and documents student performance.
Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months of previous related experience.
- Completed SLPA training project (usually in last semester of BA program).
- Certificate of completion for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program.
- Must possess CDE School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Authorization.
Skill Requirements:
- Special Education Language Pathology Assistant - Endorsement
Credential Requirements:
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences.
