AFTER SCHOOL GROUP LEADER
This position is open for the Boys & Girls Club program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with children, parents, and school staff. Organizational experience in field or related area. Possess computer skills in word processing, database, and spreadsheet. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- High School Diploma GED
REPORTS TO: Coordinator of the Boys & Girls Club
Request for Absence must be approved by Boys & Girls Club District Coordinator
HOURS:
- 10 - 20 hours per week, 5 days a week. Must be available to supervise after school (3:00 - 7:00 PM).
RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not all-inclusive):
- To implement the mission, goals, standards, and policies developed by USD 475 and Boys & Girls
- Provide positive leadership and supervision to site staff.
- Facilitate consistent communication with school staff, before school staff and parents to assure students' needs are being met.
- Build positive relationships within the community to facilitate program growth.
- Oversee all program planning and activities.
- Keep accurate records of staff and student attendance, activities and student data.
- Oversee and be responsible for all supplies and equipment.
- Submit regular reports to the Coordinator of the Boys & Girls Club.
- Supervise the site during hours of program operation.
- Monitor materials and submit purchase orders to items required to implement activities.
- Assist with data collection/process and input for Before School program site.
- Assist with Discovery Day Activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the Coordinator of the Boys & Girls Club.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Aug 12 th 2019/20 until school year or program ends.
SALARY RATE: $12.50 per hour for classified staff
$11.50 per hour non district staff
$18.50 for certified staff
EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated a minimum of one time per year.
