Director of Student Services

The Director of Student Services is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of all student support program operations and functions.  The Director ensures that cost-effective and comprehensive support service systems are fully integrated throughout all schools to assist students in developing the skills necessary to live healthy, self-directed and productive lives.  The Director is responsible for ensuring students and families are provided with the service coordination and information, linkages, and referrals to community-based services to achieve their goals.  This position supervises Family Support Specialists (FSS) and provides oversight of the FSSs  role in the Response to Intervention (RTI) process.

Job Requirements and Prerequisites:

 

Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field required; Professional Licensure and a minimum of two years post graduate experience required, preferably with at-risk youth; A minimum three years administrative and supervisory experience required; Work experience in educational setting preferred.  Experience working with multiple partner agencies, community-based organizations and governmental entities preferred.
