    English Language Arts Coordinator PreK-5 (208 days)
    2018 - 2019 School Year

    Functions:
    • Oversees all aspects of English Language Arts instruction, Grades PreK-5;
    • Works collaboratively with the English Language Arts Coordinator, Grades 6-12, to ensure coherence across levels; and
    • Provides assistance with administrative functions including staff development, actualizing the District's Guiding Principles, and the supervision and evaluation of staff as well as communication with all stakeholders.
    Requirements:
    • Successful record of teaching and leadership in an elementary setting preferred;
    • Demonstrated expertise in the area of literacy curriculum, instruction and assessment;
    • Ability to nurture culture of efficacy and passion in literacy for all stakeholders;
    • Capable of leading in a high performing school community; and
    • CT Intermediate Administrator certification (092).

    Salary: Per the Westport Intermediate Administrators' Association Contract – Coordinator (2) $145,240 - $155,689
