With our Home Program , we don’t just want to provide “in-home” tutoring, we want the best- for our students, our tutors and employees. Our tutors are people that are professional , empathetic individuals that are happy watching their students thrive with their help.
You have the freedom to set your own hours and choose the subject areas you wish to tutor in. Since we want you to succeed we also encourage you to use your own teaching style and methods to personalize lessons to each student’s needs!
We are looking for the following types of professionals to tutor our students:
- Experienced Elementary, High School, or University tutors (do not require certification)
- Elementary or High School certified teachers
- Post-graduate Students
- Substitute teachers
- Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience
- Education students in University
- Teachers, aides, counselors, etc. with specialization in learning disabilities
- Homeschool moms
- Retired Teachers
Minimum Requirements for tutor position:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree
- Any tutoring experience or exposure to a form of education
- Organized, punctual, communicative and reliable
- Flexibility with scheduled hours
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel (You will need to travel to surrounding towns, so this is a must!)
- Certification and any unique (but relevant) experience is a plus (E.g. SPED, Reading Specialist etc.)
- Own a computer and have basic computer skills
