The Lockport Township High School District 205 Board of Education announces the opening of a search for a new Superintendent due to the retirement of their Superintendent Dr. Todd Wernet on June 30, 2019. The position offers an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional, committed individual to lead this premier high school district, beginning  July 1, 2019.

Lockport township High School District in serves 3,700 students from the communities of Crest Hill, Fairmont, Homer Glen, Lockport, Homer Township and Lockport Township. Students are serviced in two highly maintained high schools.  Freshman attend Central campus and upper classmen are served at East campus.  Lockport Township High School District is located in Will County in the highly desirable southwest suburban Chicago area.

With a commitment to guiding, preparing and inspiring students to become lifelong learners, the district offers today’s students cutting-edge technology, high quality academic courses and an array of clubs and activities.  The two district schools have the same mission of creating a nurturing and challenging environment in which all students achieve success and are prepared for successful post high school experiences.
