HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR - ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT

Schedule: 235 work days per year - 8 hours per day

S alary Range: $19.87 - $23.69/hr

Position Objective:

T he HR Coordinator provides administrative support and interacts with customers for Human Resources activities (e.g., Recruitment, Labor Relations) and performs related duties and special projects.

Essential Functions:

- Provides or collects information from candidates (e.g., calls, walk-ins) and troubleshoots questions about human resource related issues

- Coordinates with Human Resources Associates/Representatives on staffing and placement issues for classified employees

- Conducts candidate reference checks and processes background investigations and works with H.R. Associates/Representatives, H.R. Partners and hiring authorities.

- Pre-screens and administers pre-screening testing as required for client group

- Administrates unemployment processes for Enterprise Management Department

- Schedules new hire orientation for new employees by communicating schedule to employees; and scheduling training arrangements.

- Updates and maintains the accuracy, confidentiality and security of applicant and new hire information (e.g., records, files).

- Attend Job Fairs and other Recruiting events.

- Maintain applicant tracking

- Prepares and completes variety of management reports and metrics for candidate tracking.

- Composes correspondence, reports, memorandums, meeting agendas and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database or presentation software.

- Complete payroll edits in True Pay

- Performs other related duties

- Assists Supervisor with other related duties as needed

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:

- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Three years training experience preferred for classified client group

- Experience with unemployment processes preferred

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Education Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required

- Some college course work or a degree is preferred
