Job Description
JOB GOAL: To assist, support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing quality education instruction to students
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Actively participate in the educational program and help in classroom management, lesson planning, and recording of student data, as requested.
• Facilitate students' travel from classroom activities and appointments by giving specific directions and monitoring independent travel.
• Participate in staff and /or unit meetings as appropriate.
• Monitor all activities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and inform the teacher of any problems, conflicts and/or issues.
• Work cooperatively with administrative and nursing staff to ensure that program activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner.
• Actively participate in program and professional development activities in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Work with students to implement program goals and objectives.
• Maintain professional standards and practices.
Terms per Unit D Collective Bargaining Agreement
Position Type: Full-time
Positions Available: 1
Salary: $17.79 to $22.68 Per Hour

Job Requirements
Associate's degree or higher is required
Must enjoy working with Elementary age studentsAt least 1 year of relevant experience preferred Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
