Location: Learning Enrichment Afterschool Program (Glacier Valley Elementary School/Riverbend Elementary School)
Hourly Position: Less than 15 hours per week

Do you enjoy helping elementary-age students learn, play games and succeed at other recreational activities?

Summary: Work in the L.E.A.P. program for elementary age students. Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment for the children by helping with academic instruction, games, craft activities, sports, and other activities. Encourage learning, sharing, socializing, and other skill development.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must enjoy working with children (previous experience preferred).
• High School diploma.
• Some college preferred.
• Must be responsible and able to follow direction.
• Must be flexible, positive and hard-working.

Compensation: This is an hourly, non-benefitted position working 13 hours per week (3.25 per day M-Th) paying $18.69 hr.

Selected hire will be fingerprinted at applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a records check.
