POSITION: Certified Tutor/Interventionist
LOCATION: Beitel Elementary School
SALARY: $44,460; final salary depends upon education, experience, and start date
CONTRACT: Balance of 185-day contract
START DATE: October 8, 2018
CLOSING DATE: August 23, 2018

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as an elementary teacher. Other desired characteristics include: Strong background and knowledge in teaching reading and math; experience in providing reading and math interventions to at-risk students; good interpersonal and communication skills; willingness and ability to be a team player; ability to adapt and modify instruction to meet the needs of each student; strong classroom management skills; and good organizational and management skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will provide instructional supports/interventions to students in grades K-5 in the areas of reading, language arts, writing, and math. This position will need to collaborate with all other core area teachers in the school in planning for and delivering interventions.
