Essential Functions and Objectives:

The Transportation Supervisor Supervises day-to-day operations of student transportation in one of two terminal locations. Ensures that transportation staff pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations in accordance with Denver Public Schools policies and procedures as well as Federal, State, local laws and regulations. This is a working supervisory position where bus driving is required.

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license. A valid Colorado commercial driver's license (CDL) - Class B with P2S endorsements is required to be obtained within 90 days of employment if not already held.

Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in the transportation industry.

One (1) year experience in a supervisory, leadership or management position in a transportation organization. Experience working in a collective bargaining environment.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
