Job Description
Randolph Public Schools seeks a highly qualified teacher with a specialty in mathematics. The Title I math teacher will work with building administration, coaches, and teachers to identify students in need of support and plan interventions from diagnostic data. Said teacher will support district curriculum and initiatives, as aligned with Randolph's Accelerated Improvement Plan.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve students in Randolph's Title I program
2. Adhere to and support all mandates of the Title I federal law requirements
3. Collaborate with colleagues on unpacking common core math standards, planning, assessment development and analysis, and action planning during Common Planning Time/RTSS meetings
4. Use a push-in model during Tier 1 instruction; pull out during intervention blocks
5. Provide small group instruction with grade level concepts
6. Pre-teach or re-teach concepts, terminology, strategies, etc. that are introduced in the classroom (Tier I) to ensure student understanding
7. Plan and implement specific instruction to close achievement gaps of individual students
8. Collaborate with colleagues to evaluate data and the progress of all students to adjust small groupings and learning targets
9. Is available for parent meetings during district conference times as well as any time a parent requests an appointment
10. Attend Open House and parent meetings as required by law
11. Meet with building administration to share data and concerns about students
12. Attend building staff meetings
Qualifications:
• Valid Massachusetts licensure as a classroom teacher; (Elementary 1-6 or Mathematics 1-6) with proven strength in mathematics
• Must meet federal law requirements for Title I funded schools
• Demonstrated experience teaching students in a diverse, multi-cultural academic setting
Terms: Teacher
182 school days in accordance with the Randolph Education Association (REA) collective bargaining agreement
Salary placement will be consistent with REA salary schedule. Position Type: Full-time

Welcome to John F. Kennedy School!
Currently, the Kennedy School maintains an enrollment of approximately six hundred students, Preschool through grade 6, enrolled in thirty-seven classrooms, nine of which serve students with special needs. The Kennedy program serves the language needs of Chinese students throughout the town with a program of language assistance for English Language Learners. Two full-time and one part-time Title 1 teachers provide small group language.
