NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION : The Superintendent of Schools, Dr, Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
Afterschool /Saturday ENL Regents Success Program Teacher
APPLICATION : Candidates interested in applying must complete an online application on the district web site at www.buffaloschools.org/jobs.
QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates must hold a valid New York State certification to teach in one of the following areas:
Additionally, candidates must be currently employed with the Buffalo Public Schools as a tenured teacher. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching in the content areas listed above.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Afterschool ENL Credit Accrual/Recovery Program Teachers will work under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Multilingual Education. The content teacher will apply high-leverage strategies for English language learners to deliver intensive review of content relevant to Regents examinations.
The assignment includes:
APPOINTMENT : Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, evaluation of service, program needs and interview.
SALARY : Per teacher salary schedule
FUNDING : Pending funding

- Biology 7-12
- English Language Arts
- Mathematics
