PROVISO TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOLS POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Dance Assistant Sponsor
REPORTS TO: Student Activity Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience or Training
Previous experience coaching/mentoring students in dance/cheer/pom
Experience creating dance routines

Desired Experience or Training
Valid Illinois Teaching Certification
Previous teaching experience BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the duties of organizing, providing and promoting dance/cheer/pom activities and events POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Willingness to accept responsibility for the tasks of the positionAssist in providing effective leadership in dance/cheer/pom activities and events.Organize and effectively lead students to plan and execute dance/cheer/pom activities and events.Schedule and coordinate dance/cheer/pom activities and events.Work with the dance/cheer/pom sponsor to determine dance/cheer/pom activities and events.Other duties as assigned.
